The waves are making a comeback! From 2027, you can look forward to a real highlight at Dolder Wellenbad: our legendary wave pool will be making a splash once again and keeping things flowing all summer long.

In the event of bad weather, we reserve the right to close Dolder Wellenbad early for safety reasons.
The wave pool will close at 7.30 pm during the Dolder open-air cinema season from 31 July to 16 August 2026.

GETTING HERE
Take tram 2 or 3 to Römerhof, hop on the Dolderbahn and head up to the top station. From there, it’s about 300 metres or a four-minute walk to Dolder Eis und Bad.
If you’re coming by car, there are paid parking spaces available on site at Dolder Eis und Bad.

Your summer in Zurich
Do your lengths in our 50-metre pool, and take the kids for a splash in the paddling pool or our separate, shaded children’s pool. There’s also a slide tower and a play area for the little ones to enjoy. You’ll find plenty of space for exercise and relaxation around our accessible outdoor pool, from table tennis and volleyball to football and a yoga area.
The Dolder Minigolf course is right next door whenever you fancy a round or two.
And if you’re feeling peckish, just pop into the self-service restaurant or our Kids Corner. We’ve got all the usual favourites, including burgers, chips and ice cream, plus a range of fresh and plant-based options.
Good to know
Our shop has everything you need for a day by the pool, including sun cream, swimwear and swimming aids. Parasols and sun loungers are also available for hire.
The spacious sunbathing area at the edge of the woods provides a shady retreat, and the outdoor pool area also has its own little grove of newly planted trees.
So what are you waiting for? Get changed and dive in! It’s easy in our newly refurbished changing rooms, complete with their own beauty corner. A limited number of lockers are also available for hire throughout the season. Above the changing rooms, the upper deck offers additional sunbathing areas with shade.
The entire outdoor pool is designed to be accessible, creating the perfect spot for summer days in Zurich.

Daily menus, vegan and vegetarian dishes, BBQ options, plus snacks to go like hot dogs, chicken nuggets and ice cream. Whatever takes your fancy!
