GOALS, MULLED WINE AND DJ BEATS: DOLDER EISBAHN OPENS THE WINTER SEASON

A goal on the hockey rink, the perfect move at Bavarian curling or a few laps to DJ beats: on 17 October 2026, Dolder Eisbahn kicks off the 2026/27 winter season. Until 7 March 2027, the 6,000-square-metre open-air rink in the middle of the Dolderwald offers space to move and to spend winter evenings on the ice. At the winter market right next to the rink, guests can tuck into raclette, roast chestnuts, mulled wine and punch.

DJ BEATS, LIGHT SHOW AND LAPS ON THE ICE

On six evenings, DJ beats and a light show bring disco vibes to the ice. The ice discos take place from 4.00 pm to 10.00 pm:

• 31 October 2026 – Halloween
• 21 November 2026 – Winter Slide
• 12 December 2026 – Christmas Edition
• 26 December 2026 – Fireworks
• 23 January 2027 – Frozen
• 27 February 2027 – Season End – It’s Showtime

Admission costs from CHF 10.00 for adults, CHF 8.00 for young people aged 16 to 19 and from CHF 6.00 for children aged 6 to 15. VIP tickets offer faster access without long queues; skate hire and a locker are included.

There’s plenty going on beyond the ice discos too: ice hockey games, Bavarian curling, Lättlischiessen, Chneble and snow carving round off the skating experience.

SAMICHLAUS ON ICE

On 6 December 2026, Samichlaus joins guests on the ice from 1.00 pm to 5.00 pm. He brings along Luxemburgerli ice cream from Confiserie Sprüngli, which he hands out between laps – while stocks last.

FONDUE GONDOLA WITH AN ALPINE FEEL

With a view of the rink and a fondue in the gondola, the Adlisberg takes on an Alpine feel. Guests can choose between Gstaad moitié-moitié fondue and truffle fondue, served with bread, potatoes, white wine, kirsch and mineral water. A non-alcoholic option is also available. The gondolas seat two to four people and are booked for two hours.

Gstaad moitié-moitié fondue costs CHF 124.00 for 2 people, truffle fondue CHF 132.00 for 2 people.

MULLED WINE, ROAST CHESTNUTS AND FESTIVE CHEER

From November, the winter market right next to the rink is the place to meet for a break between laps. On the menu: raclette, macaroni with minced meat and apple sauce, roast chestnuts, mulled wine and punch. The winter market opens on selected days, such as during the ice discos and on Saturdays in
peak season. Opening depends on the weather and on whether the market has been booked exclusively by a group.

Groups of 20 to 200 people can book the winter market exclusively; reservation is required.

WINTER EVENTS FOR GROUPS

For companies and private groups, there are offers for Christmas dinners and other winter events – from exclusive ice time to culinary packages.
